Meridian Junior College (MJC), the 16th Junior College of Singapore was inaugurated in January 2003. Since then, it has made its presence felt as a dynamic institution offering quality education and rich learning experiences. The Meridian culture is a vibrant and forward-looking one that inspires all Meridians to reach for higher achievements. Through this process, they are transformed into young men and women of calibre, imbued with the desire to excel in their future endeavors.
The Service-Learning Club (S-LC) of MJC has a membership of more than 60 Junior College Year One students in the academic year of 2009. The club is made up of youths passionate about serving the community and reaching out in order to improve the lives of those in need.
Our members are involved in various programmes on a weekly basis. Some of our current commitments inlcude:
1. MINDS, Fernvale Gardens School
2. Metta Welfare Organisation
3. Pasir Ris Family Service Centre
