The Pink Ribbon Spin For Life is the grand finale for BCAM 2009. It will be held on Oct 31, 9am to 8pm, at the open space outside Plaza Singapore Shopping Centre. Singapore Celebrity, Ms Koh Chien Mun, will make an appearance. Research has found that women who cycle on a regular basis seem to be at lower risk of contracting the disease. While more research may be needed to confirm the protective effects of cycling, it is of no doubt that cycling, like other forms of exercise, is a physical activity that can potentially improve one’s overall health and fitness. Through the Spin for Life event, BCF hopes to encourage more people to participate in it, and experience its health benefits.
