Overseas Community Service Project 2010 !

HELLO PEOPLE! =D

As everyone know, our 2009 OCSP was like cancelled because of some H1N1 paranoia. As a result, we didn't go! But OCSP is a really exciting thing, and it's another dimension of service-learning.

I guess, when we're performing acts of S-L in Singapore, sometimes, we are bugged with a nagging feeling as to whether what we are doing is filling up a need or a superficial want in the society. But when it's overseas, there really isn't much of an argument especially when it's the 3rd world countries.

For those who have been on OCSP trips before, I believe you'd know what I'm saying. For those who haven't, it's the time for you to start!

The exco would be organising a trip for the end of 2010. After our big A levels overcomed, it's time to play. (: But you see, planning begins wayyyyyyyyyy beforehand. It'd be a trip open to only JC2 members of S-LC in year 2010 and our seniors. Hence, it's like the 1ST ALUMNI TRIP! =D

okay. so to start everything going, we've to decide on a location.

i've some website links that you guys could check out, before casting your precious vote on the column okay?

and you could discuss on the tagboard too! (: don't ask me how much YET, i mean, decide on a place then we see how okay? and likely it'd be approx 2 week trip. =D don't ask where exactly yet, cos i'll let you guys vote too after we decide on a country. (:

I really hope everyone can go for it! =D

If the JC1s have their own trip, then we'll not want to clashzxzx with them even in terms of location and dates, so yeah, the earlier we confirm, then they have to accommodate us. HAHAHA. =D

much loves,
ryn(:

and yes, the scope of the countries is limited to ASEAN, India and China. It's not as expensive to travel to, and the need is strong.

OKAY! PLEASE VOTE!
