PROJECT H2O - AN OCIP EXPERIENCE OF OUR SENIORS

The OCIP trip is the most unforgettable trip I've ever been on. We went to Tung Luang, a village in the mountains in Chiang Mai, Thailand. We spent 10 days in the village teaching English and playing with the children. We also participated in the building of water tanks, harvesting rice in a paddy field and went for home visitations. These are precious experiences that is hard to come by.

We learnt a lot from the happy faces of the children. They taught us that we don't need anything to be happy and to be kind to our peers. We also made friends with the Thai City students, whom we remain in contact with now. On this trip, we went with the heart to serve, but we found out, we gained much more than we gave.
